VFS Global has expanded its footprint in Uganda with the launch of a Premium UK Visa Application Centre in Uganda Entebbe Plot 23, Lake Victoria Hotel, 31 Circular Rd, a move set to significantly improve access and convenience for travelers applying for UK visas.
The new facility allows applicants to complete their visa submission and biometric enrolment without traveling to Kampala, addressing growing demand for outbound travel to the United Kingdom.
This expansion builds on the company’s existing Visa Application Centre in Lugogo, Kampala, which has been operational since October 2024, and reflects a broader strategy to decentralize services and enhance customer experience.
Bringing Visa Services Closer to Ugandans
The Entebbe Premium Application Centre is designed to provide a seamless and efficient process for applicants, particularly those based in Entebbe and surrounding areas.
According to Adin Jaisinghani, the expansion is focused on accessibility and convenience.
“We are pleased to expand access to UK visa services in Uganda through our Premium Application Centre in Entebbe, providing customers the convenience of applying closer to home. Residents no longer need to travel to Kampala to submit their visa applications and enrol biometrics while enjoying the same comfort, convenience, and best-in-class service in the city.”
The development comes at a time when demand for international travel continues to rise, driven by education, tourism, and business opportunities.

Applicants using the Entebbe centre will benefit from a range of premium services designed to simplify the visa process.
These include support with document uploads, application tracking notifications, and other customer-focused enhancements that reduce errors and improve processing efficiency.
By offering these services, VFS Global aims to streamline the application journey while maintaining high service standards associated with UK visa processing.
Strengthening Uganda’s Global Mobility Infrastructure
The expansion of visa services into Entebbe reflects a broader trend of improving mobility infrastructure in Uganda. By decentralizing access points, service providers are responding to increasing demand while reducing logistical barriers for applicants.
As a long-standing partner to UK Visas and Immigration, VFS Global continues to play a key role in facilitating secure and efficient visa processing worldwide. The company’s global reach spans over 4,000 application centres across 167 countries, having processed more than 537 million applications since 2001.

The addition of the Entebbe center Plot 23, Lake Victoria Hotel, 31 Circular Rd, positions VFS Global to better serve Uganda’s growing population of international travelers. It also aligns with broader trends in regional service expansion, where convenience and proximity are becoming critical factors in customer experience.
With increasing interest in travel to the UK for study, business, and leisure, the new facility is expected to ease pressure on existing centres while improving turnaround efficiency.
VFS Global’s expansion into Entebbe signals a continued commitment to improving access to essential visa services in Uganda. As travel demand grows, such investments will play a critical role in enhancing customer experience and supporting global mobility.
For Ugandans, the move represents not just convenience, but a step toward a more accessible and efficient international travel ecosystem.
