President Yoweri Museveni has announced a new edition of his interactive youth dialogue series, Jazz with Jajja, dubbed the “Ranch Edition,” scheduled for March 1, 2026.

The event, which will begin at 11 a.m., will be broadcast live across social media platforms, television, and radio stations, offering nationwide access to the conversation.

The upcoming session builds on the inaugural engagement held on January 4 at State House. That first edition was moderated by his daughter, Natasha Museveni Karugire, and brought together digital influencers to discuss opportunities within Uganda’s digital economy.

The dialogue focused particularly on empowering the country’s young population, often referred to by Museveni as “Bazukulu” and equipping them to tap into emerging technological and entrepreneurial spaces.

Coming after his January 15 election victory, the Ranch Edition is seen by supporters as part of the President’s continued outreach to the youth demographic.

In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, President Museveni expressed enthusiasm about reconnecting with young Ugandans.

“I enjoyed my time with the young people in January at the Jazz with Jajja session. I promised them another session, and I look forward to spending time with them on 1st March 2026. It will be broadcast live on social media, TV, and radio stations.”

The President’s message was accompanied by a colorful promotional poster that has since been widely shared by supporters online.

The Jazz with Jajja platform appears to position itself as an open dialogue between the Head of State and Uganda’s digitally active generation. The January edition centered on innovation, online entrepreneurship, and digital transformation, key areas in the country’s broader development strategy.

Observers say the Ranch Edition could provide further clarity on government plans to expand digital infrastructure, create online job opportunities, and integrate young people into Uganda’s evolving economic landscape.
