Uganda Baati has commemorated a major leadership milestone as its Chief Executive Officer, George Arodi, completes nine years at the helm of the country’s leading manufacturer of quality roofing solutions. His tenure has been defined by steady growth, strategic innovation, and a strong commitment to Uganda’s industrial and socio-economic development.
Since assuming office, Arodi has overseen a period of transformation that has strengthened Uganda Baati’s market leadership and operational resilience. Under his guidance, the company has expanded its national footprint to over 20 showrooms across Uganda, improved operational efficiency, and diversified its product portfolio to respond to evolving customer and construction-sector demands.
Arodi’s leadership has also played a critical role in advancing local manufacturing and industrialisation. Through sustained investment in modern technology, skills development, and talent nurturing, Uganda Baati has enhanced production standards while embedding a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability across its operations. These efforts have translated into job creation, skills transfer, and long-term value for employees and the wider economy.
Beyond commercial performance, Arodi has positioned Uganda Baati as a responsible corporate citizen. The company has actively supported housing development, education initiatives, and community infrastructure projects, aligning its corporate social responsibility agenda with national development priorities. This approach reflects Uganda Baati’s broader mission of contributing to stronger, safer, and more resilient communities.
Commenting on the milestone, Arodi expressed appreciation to employees, partners, and customers for their continued trust and collaboration, noting that the company’s progress has been anchored in shared values and teamwork.
“Leadership is about empowering people and creating opportunities for growth,” Arodi said. “I am proud of what we have achieved together and remain excited about the future we are building for Uganda’s construction and manufacturing sector.”
Looking ahead, Uganda Baati reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth, with Arodi’s leadership continuing to guide the company’s long-term vision of shaping a stronger future for Uganda’s built environment.
