In a bombshell interview that’s already setting tongues wagging across Kampala, rising Ugandan star Gloria Bugie has brutally shut down the idea that artist beefs and rivalries are good for the music scene  calling the whole thing completely useless and downright destructive! The curvaceous hitmaker didn’t hold back after veteran deejay DJ Roja moaned that Ugandan music feels “dormant” and “boring” these days… all because there’s not enough juicy, healthy beef and cut-throat competition to spice things up like the golden days of Bobi Wine, Chameleone, and Bebe Cool clashes.

She’s not buying it for a second!”I don’t understand how beef can be useful that’s why we are still backwards!” she blasted. “Other industries like the Nigerians are busy supporting and pushing each other… they’ve even penetrated American fanbases big time. But here we are, just beefing!”The no-nonsense artist pointed straight to Nigeria’s music empire as proof: unity equals massive global success, while pointless divisions keep Ugandan talent stuck in the mud.”Beef hasn’t taken us anywhere,” she insisted.
