Uganda’s beloved live music and food festival Roast and Rhyme is celebrating a major milestone in 2026 as it marks its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, the event has grown from a simple outdoor gathering into one of the country’s most recognized cultural festivals, blending live Ugandan music, roasted meats, vibrant social energy, and a strong sense of community.
Since its launch, Roast and Rhyme has played a key role in shaping Uganda’s live music scene by providing a platform for both emerging and established artists. To kick off the year long anniversary celebrations, the festival will host the Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam Edition on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The event will take place at the Hockey Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, and promises a full day of island inspired energy powered by reggae and ragga sounds.
Star-Studded Lineup for the Anniversary Kickoff
