Ugandan singer Lydia Jazmine has announced a major reunion concert scheduled for September 4, as she celebrates two years since her maiden concert, “First Born.”

Taking to her social media platforms on March 1, the songstress reflected on the journey since the landmark show, thanking fans for their unwavering support.

“Today, 1ST MARCH marks exactly two years since the First Born Concert, and what a journey it has been. The concert was unforgettable, thanks to you all. The energy, the love, and the memories made it special, and we will always be grateful,” she wrote.

A Milestone Since ‘First Born’

Jazmine’s maiden concert, dubbed First Born, was held at Hotel Africana in 2024. The show marked a significant turning point in her musical career, drawing hundreds of fans for a night filled with high-energy performances, crowd sing-alongs, and some of her biggest hits.

The concert not only cemented her place among Uganda’s leading female artists but also demonstrated her ability to command a full live band production and captivate a headline audience.

Following the success of First Born, Jazmine shifted focus to her 2025 studio album, The One and Only. The project blended Afrobeat, R&B, and contemporary gospel influences, showcasing her versatility and artistic growth.

The album featured collaborations with both local and international musicians and received praise for its lyrical depth and polished production. According to Jazmine, fan support played a crucial role in the album’s impact.

“Last year, we focused on The One and Only album, and you turned it into something bigger than we imagined. Your support and streams made every song meaningful. We felt it. We still feel it,” she shared.

Music critics and fans alike have described the album as a defining chapter in her career, further strengthening her footprint in the East African music scene.

Now, Lydia Jazmine is preparing to bring that energy back.

“On SEPTEMBER 4TH, we are bringing the energy back, bigger vibes, bigger moments, and memories we will create together. This is not just another concert; it is a reunion. It is a celebration,” she announced.

While the official venue and additional details are yet to be revealed, anticipation is already building among her fan base, with many viewing the upcoming show as both a celebration of growth and a continuation of her evolving musical journey.

As one of the consistent voices in Uganda’s contemporary music scene, Lydia Jazmine’s September 4 concert is expected to draw significant attention, potentially surpassing the scale and impact of her maiden “First Born” show.

More details are expected in the coming weeks as preparations for the highly anticipated reunion unfold.
