Gravity Omutujju Cheats Death in Terrifying Accident En Route to Buhweju Political Rally

Ugandan rapper Gravity Omutujju at the scene of a road accident in Buhweju District, where the van he was travelling in lost control and hit a rock while he was en route to perform at a political rally.

Ugandan rapper Gereson Wabuyi, famously known as Gravity Omutujju, is thanking God for life after he and his team survived a frightening road accident yesterday in Buhweju District, Western Uganda.

The award-winning artiste was reportedly heading to perform at a political rally in the hilly district one of the regions that make up the Ankole sub-region, when the van they were travelling in, a Toyota Super Custom, lost control. According to eyewitness accounts shared online, the vehicle veered off the road and slammed into a rock, leaving fans and the artist himself in shock.

Shortly after the incident, Gravity took to his Instagram to share the emotional update with his followers.

“Earlier today in Buhweju we survived a terrible accident. Thank you 🙏🏿 Lord for giving us another chance to live,” he posted, pairing the message with photos from the crash scene.

While details about injuries remain limited, early reports indicate that the rapper and his crew escaped with no life-threatening harm an outcome many have described as nothing short of miraculous.

Fans across social media have since flooded his pages with messages of relief and support, praising the artiste for his resilience and wishing him a quick recovery as he processes the traumatic event.

Gravity Omutujju, known for hits like Embuzi Zakutudde and Big Boys, has been actively touring and performing at various political and entertainment events around the country. His near-fatal experience in Buhweju has once again sparked public calls for improved road safety especially for artistes who spend countless hours travelling to perform for their fans.
